Back in February, the Morehouse Philosophy and Religion Department hosted our first-ever Morehouse-Atlanta University Center Undergraduate Philosophy Conference (MAUC-UP for short). I am so proud of the students who made this event amazing, from those who presented their papers, to those who gave comments, to those attendees who asked probing questions during the Q&A. The whole event was a massive success, and you can read all about it here. Organizing this conference for students all across the AUC was one of the highlights of the past academic year for me. Hopefully we’ll have a MAUC-UP 2027 or 2028 to look forward to in the future to keep the excitement around philosophy on our shared campus going!
